Effective date: September 30, 2026
These terms apply when you use neighborsit.com or book a service from Neighborhood IT ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a service, you agree to them. If you have questions, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
Cancellation & refund policy
This applies to paid services booked online, including the $395 Security Checkup.
- Cancel 24 hours or more before your appointment: full refund.
- Reschedule 24 hours or more ahead: free, as many times as you need, using the link in your confirmation email.
- Cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before: no refund, but we'll reschedule you once at no charge.
- No-show: if you miss your appointment without notice, the fee is not refunded. Contact us and we'll try to find another time.
- If we cancel or can't deliver: you get a full refund, or a new time if you prefer.
- After the service is delivered: if you're unhappy with the work, tell us within 7 days and we'll make it right or discuss a partial or full refund.
To cancel or request a refund, use the link in your booking confirmation email, or email contact@neighborsit.com or call/text (208) 789-7135. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Booking and payment
Paid services are booked through Cal.com and paid by card through Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and listed on our website at the time you book. We never see or store your full card number.
What our services include
Each service includes what's described on its page at the time you book. The Security Checkup is an assessment: we review your setup and give you a written scorecard and recommendations. Fixing the issues we find is not included unless we agree to it separately.
Your part
- You confirm you own, or are authorized to have us review, the domains, email accounts, and systems you ask us to check.
- You'll give us accurate information and the access we need, and be available at your appointment time.
- You're responsible for deciding which recommendations to act on and for keeping your own backups.
Your information and confidentiality
We keep what we learn about your business and systems confidential and use it only to provide your service. We won't ask for your passwords during a checkup unless you choose to give us access for work you've requested. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
No guarantees
Security work reduces risk, but no review or service can guarantee that you won't experience a breach, outage, or data loss. Our recommendations reflect our professional judgment at the time of the service. Information we share about laws, such as Utah's Cybersecurity Affirmative Defense Act, is general information and not legal advice; talk to an attorney about your specific situation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be waived under law.
Using this website
The content on this site is for general information. Please don't misuse it — for example, by trying to break into it, overload it, or send spam through our forms. The site's text, logo, and design belong to Neighborhood IT or our licensors. Links to other sites (such as Cal.com, Google, or social media) are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, unless we both agree otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you book is the one that applies to that booking.
