Effective date: September 30, 2026
Neighborhood IT ("we," "us," or "our") provides IT support to businesses in Utah. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit neighborsit.com, contact us, or book an appointment, and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information you give us
When you use our contact form or book a service, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your message or a description of what you need help with
- The appointment date and time you request
We use this only to respond to you, schedule and hold your appointment, and provide the services you ask for. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
How form submissions are delivered
Our website does not store form submissions in a database. When you submit a form, your information is sent through EmailJS, an email delivery service, directly to our business inbox. EmailJS processes the message only to deliver it to us.
Booking appointments
Security Checkup appointments are booked through Cal.com, and payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your booking details and confirmation of payment, but never your full card number. Cancellations and refunds are covered in our Terms & Refund Policy.
Cookies, advertising, and remarketing
Our site uses the Google tag (Google Ads) to measure how well our advertising works — for example, whether someone who clicked an ad later contacted us or booked a service. Google may set cookies or collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
We may also use Google Ads remarketing, which lets Google show our ads to people who have visited our site when they later browse other websites. Google uses cookies to do this based on your past visits to our site. You can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of many advertising networks at optout.aboutads.info. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.
"Do Not Track" signals
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to it, so our site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. You can still limit tracking using the opt-out links and cookie settings described above.
Social media links
Our site links to our pages on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. These are ordinary links; we don't load those companies' tracking code on our site. If you follow a link, the social network's own privacy policy applies to what you do there.
Website hosting
Our site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Like most websites, AWS may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your visit, which is used for security and to keep the site running.
How we protect your information
Our site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections and uses modern security headers to help block common web attacks. Emails you send us are kept in a secured business account and accessed only by our team for the reasons described above.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages and appointment details only as long as needed to respond to you, provide services, and meet any legal or accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
